Despite the Die Hard star, 70, being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2022, Willis says her dad doesn't miss a moment with his granddaughter. In fact, she tells PEOPLE the proud grandpa "gets so excited" when he sees the little one.

"Even with my dad, given the challenges that he's dealing with, whenever we go over there to visit, his face just lights up and he gets so excited and is so sweet with her," she said of Bruce and Lou. "My family is so incredible with her. I feel so lucky, and she's so lucky. I mean, they are obsessed with her."

The Dancing with the Stars alum also said that since becoming a mother, her appreciation for her own mother has deepened.

"My appreciation for my mom, has always been there, but I think inherently [and] inevitably, it has to just deepen. And I also think the way that you love your child just reminds you, 'Oh wow, my mom, that's how she loves me,' " she says, referring to her relationship with Demi Moore, 62. "I think it's just made us so much closer."
