Ray J was arrested in Los Angeles early Thanksgiving morning, according to jail records.

The 44-year-old R&B singer, whose legal name is Willie Norwood, was taken into custody around 4 a.m., booked around 6:30 a.m., and subsequently released on a $50,000 bail bond, according to records reviewed by **.

Capt. Mike Bland of the Los Angeles Police Department told the *Los Angeles Times* that Norwood was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats. An LAPD spokesperson told EW on Friday that he did not have any further information to provide.**

Norwood's arrest came after he and his estranged wife, Princess Love, were seen arguing during a livestream. Video from the livestream shared on social media shows Love accusing Norwood of pointing a gun at her, and him accusing her of wanting to "drive drunk."**

Norwood and Love married in 2016 and have filed for divorce four times. They share two children: daughter Melody Love, 7, and son Epik Ray, 5.
