Lindsay Lohan with Dunkin' for the Betch of the Year Awards -
Lindsay Lohan told PEOPLE about how she learns about memes and her favorite pop culture moments of this year
The actress was revealed as the host of the third Betch of the Year Awards
Fans can vote for their favorite viral moments of 2025 starting Monday, Dec. 1
Lindsay Lohan is reflecting on the slang, shows and songs of her year.
The Freakier Friday actress, 39, dished to PEOPLE about her favorite onscreen moments of 2025 while discussing her hosting role for the Dunkin’-sponsored Betch of the Year Awards. But she admitted that her internet knowledge is a word-of-mouth thing for the star.
“I hear from other people. I mean, I didn't know what rizz was until I was with the girls in Freakier Friday, Sophia [Hammons] and Julia [Butters], and they were teaching me,” the Mean Girls star explained of her teenaged costars. “I'm really bad at it.”
But she wouldn’t have it any other way, the mother of one said, explaining that she doesn’t think of her being out of the loop (in terms of TikTok moments and language) as making her feel old.

“I just say, ‘Oh, I don't pay attention,’” she laughed.
Some of her favorite moments came from TV screens, movie theaters and the radio.
“I'm so excited Landman is back on before the end of the year because that's my favorite show. I love The Morning Show always — it's just a good, easy watch,” Lohan dished, also giving The Beast in Me and The Diplomat her seal of approval.
One Battle After Another was “fantastic,” she continued, as was a lot of music. “I love Taylor Swift's new album [The Life of a Showgirl], it's so fun. My sister [Aliana] did a single that I really loved called ‘Eternity.’”
As the host for the third annual Betch of the Year Awards, which was announced on Monday, Dec. 1, Lohan refreshed her pop culture moments for an announcement video.

“I know a thing or two about becoming internet royalty,” Lohan declared in the video, which references moments like “6-7,” “mamacitas” and the infamous blender from White Lotus season 3. The Parent Trap star also references Dunkin’s Cookie Butter Cloud Latte as another worthy award-winner.
The seasonal drink, first available on Nov. 5, comes from a menu hack. Fans were abuzz last year with the secret menu item, specifically ordering a version of the drink by asking for particular additions of cold foam, syrups and toppings. Dunkin’ is streamlining the process with the seasonal sip, which tops a brown sugar and baked cookie-flavored iced latte with Cookie Butter Cold Foam and cookie butter crumbles.
Of being the Betch of the Year Awards presenter, Lohan said, “My year flew by and it was fun to do kind of a year wrap-up for the fans, for what people are excited about, and for Cookie Butter Cloud Latte to officially join the Dunkin' menu.”
She continued, “To pay homage to some of the year's biggest moments in entertainment was really fun.”
The online awards are decided by fans. On Dec. 1, the nominees were revealed across categories like “Emotional Ballad of the Year,” “Daddy? Dadacita of the Year,” “Relationship Jump Scare,” and, the biggie, “Betch of the Year.”
